Glenn Lynch became one of our owners in March 2014 and took on the role of Chief Executive Officer in August 2014. He also serves as Property Development and Construction Manager for Bobby Cox Companies, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas, a position he has held since March 2012. Glenn Lynch has also served as CEO of our affiliate, Solatrue, LLC, based in Fort Worth, Texas, since July 2022. Mr. Lynch offices in Fort Worth, Texas.

Bobby Cox became one of our Co-owners in August 2014. He is also the founder and CEO of Bobby Cox Companies, Inc. based in Fort Worth, Texas, positions he has held since December 1985. Mr. Cox is also currently an owner and the Chief Executive Officer of numerous companies operating throughout the United States, including marketing companies, custom food manufacturers, ranching, real estate, and restaurants such as Rosa’s Café (from December 1995 to the present), Taco Villa (from December 1992 to the present), and Texas Burger (from December 1967 to the present). Mr. Cox is also an owner of our affiliate, Solatrue, LLC, based in Fort Worth, Texas, since July 2022. Mr. Cox offices in Fort Worth, Texas.

Mike Whelan has served as our CFO since January 2020. Since June 2018, he has also served as the CFO of Bobby Cox Companies, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas. Bobby Cox Companies, Inc. is a holding company with interests in restaurants, real estate, and ranching, and is also one of the owners of Storm Guard. From December 2009 to May 2018, Mike served as the CFO of Cooper Natural Resources, Inc., a holding company located in Fort Worth, Texas, with operating businesses in chemicals, oilfield products and services and consumer products. Mike Whelan has also served as CFO of our affiliate, Solatrue, LLC, based in Fort Worth, Texas, since July 2022. Mr. Whelan offices in Fort Worth, Texas.

Shannon Santee began serving as our Chief Operating Officer in November 2023. Prior to joining Storm Guard, Shannon held the same role of Chief Operating Officer at Exscape Designs, a design and build landscape company in Newbury, Ohio from February 2023 to November 2023. Before that, Shannon was the owner and Chief Strategy Officer for Santee Strategic Partners from June 2021 to February 2023. Shannon also previously worked for CertaPro Painters, a national residential and commercial franchise painting company based in Audubon, Pennsylvania, as Vice President of Operations from September 2020 to May 2021 and as Regional Vice President from January 2015 to August 2020.

Derrick Hemmelgarn began serving as our Director of Marketing May 2023. Prior to joining Storm Guard, Derrick was a marketing manager, senior marketing, manager and franchise business consultant for Propelled Brands located in Carrollton, TX from 2016-2023. He assisted the growth path for FASTSIGNS International and the Nerd2Go Brand to build the umbrella company known as Propelled brands. Prior to FASTSIGNS International, Derrick worked for Heartland Automotive (America’s largest Franchise of Jiffy Lube) located in Irving, TX as the marketing manager for over 500 locations. Derrick offices in Fort Worth, TX.

Meredith Lynch joined Storm Guard as the Director of People Development in January 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience spanning 17 years in full-cycle recruiting, career coaching, training and development, and talent acquisition strategy. Before joining Storm Guard, Meredith worked as a Lead Talent Acquisition Consultant at Randstad Sourceright, where she supported their Honeywell account for over nine years. Her career also includes over seven years with Aerotek, a renowned nationwide recruiting firm, where she held various roles focused on recruiting and training. Meredith holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University and a Master’s degree in Leadership and Human Resource Development from Louisiana State University. Her extensive knowledge in organizational development and recruiting benefits both our franchisees and home office team.
