The initial franchise fee is $65,000 for a standard territory. Including the franchise fee, the initial investment ranges from $185,400 to $221,600. Further details are outlined in our Franchise Disclosure Document, but you can read a little more about them here.

The royalty fee is 6.25% of your gross sales, subject to minimums as outlined in the Franchise Disclosure Document. In addition to the royalty fee, we charge a brand development fee of 0.75% of your gross sales; our brand development fund is used to improve the Storm Guard system and market the Storm Guard brand.

Storm Guard’s initial training is thorough and consists of 4 pillars. Each pillar builds upon the learning and skills acquired in the previous one and directly correlates to where you and your team are in the business lifecycle. Together, the 4 pillars span your first 3-6 months as a Storm Guard franchisee. For more information, click here or contact us

At Storm Guard, we know that our success as a franchisor is directly related to the success of our local offices. When you begin initial training, you also begin weekly calls with your Franchise Business Consultant, and those calls continue throughout your lifetime as a Storm Guard franchisee. We also cultivate multiple communication channels online and in person with both the support team and your peers to ask questions and share best practices. Additionally, our internal CRM keeps training, resource guides, and access to marketing materials and strategies at your fingertips. Read more here

Storm Guard franchisees have access to weather and aerial measurement technology, as well as a field rep tracking application, insurance claim estimating software, and task management systems to help you manage sales, production, and invoicing. At the support center, we keep our eye on technology trends, innovation and vendors so you can implement great solutions at great prices without the time and energy typically expended to do so.

Yes!  Storm Guard has established national relationships with distributors and suppliers that benefit franchisees on the local level.  A few examples:

  • ABC Supply
  • Beacon Roofing Supply
  • Owens Corning
  • CertainTeed
  • TAMKO

Neither is required or necessary. We already have it and will teach you what you need to know! What is more, as the franchise owner you will be managing your business, staff and subcontractors, not completing the work yourself.

In some states a roofing or contractor’s license or certification is necessary to open your Storm Guard location. In others, you simply need to register with your state’s Contractors’ Board or the local Department of Labor. We accommodate for the appropriate local requirements and timelines in your initial training process.

Although there are numerous differences, a couple stand out to us. First, we are committed, local providers who live and work in the communities we serve. We value integrity and quality of materials and craftsmanship. Unlike so many of our competitors, we do not hop from market to market, chasing storms and leaving disappointed customers in our wake. Second and most importantly, Storm Guard is a family. That’s not a feel-good phrase we throw around lightly. You’ll find no shortage of passion, collaboration and trustworthiness in both the Storm Guard support team and franchisees. We know we’re stronger together and collectively work to raise the service level standard in our industry while building successful, profitable businesses in the process. Culture is an intangible, but valuable asset.

We’re looking for self-motivated, business savvy entrepreneurs who are skilled in relationship building and care about the safety of their community. We take care of the education, training and support you need to succeed in the roofing and construction business, but a background in people and product management or outside sales could be of benefit. That said, our franchisees come from all walks of life and a strong work ethic and desire to thrive no matter the challenge tend to trump previous experience. Our goal is to get your location operational as efficiently as possible. There are variances in opening timelines from state to state and given the time of year that you join the family. Contact us for more information specific to your location and situation.

Together, we’ll walk through a mutual investigation to determine if we are the right fit for each other. Check out all the details here
